The Christmas tree in the master bedroom at Belmont, Gary Melcher’s home and studio, is a replica of the first Christmas tree Gary and his wife, Corinne, put up their first Christmas together in Holland in 1903. It is decorated with teacups, just as the original one had been decorated. (suzanne carr rossi)
